A Brief Update

Hello Friends and Welcome!

This week, I had hoped to share a look at the sewing weekend I just had with my Mom, we were going to work on our various iterations of the Stars of the City pattern! Unfortunately, a poorly timed injury to my hand changed our plans.

We spent 5 hours on Friday evening at the ER waiting for me to get stitches, I think I got 9 or 10, which the doctor and my Mom agreed were not as neat or small as my own stitching usually is. These will need about 10 days to heal before they can be removed, so in the meantime, I won't be doing much sewing.

However, I am perfectly capable of using a mouse and keyboard, so the time to work on my label stencils may finally have arrived! I'm hoping to have a positive update on that for next week, so let's hope I can 'hand'le it!
