Hello Friends and Welcome!
After being sick for so much of the last few weeks, I've been looking forward to getting back into my stitching projects and continuing renovations!
Unfortunately, I celebrated getting well a little too soon and ended up eating something disagreeable and needed another few days to recover. But, such is life I suppose!
And while I haven't managed much significant progress on anything while I've been sick, I did continue crocheting squares!

Once I've made enough, I'm planning to join the squares together to make an afghan so all my practice can become something beautiful and functional!
Although, some of the blocks from Granny Square Flair are a little too chunky and three dimensional for what I'd like in a blanket, so those I'll be unraveling so I can reuse the yarn. I still want to make all 50 patterns even if I don't use them all, each square will teach me something a little different!
My Granny Squares are based on a variety of patterns designed by Shelley Husband.
Now that I'm finally feeling better—hopefully for real this time—I'm excited to start seeing more progress on the sewing room renovations and on some of my other stitching projects too!
