Life Update: 31.03.2026

Hello Friends and Welcome!

After a few weeks offline during my move, I'm excited to be back on the Fibre Arts blog and into my new home!

Well, sort of. I'm not actually posting from the new house right now because we don't have the internet set up, I'm actually at my parent's house, but we should be getting that sorted out over the weekend!

For now, I wanted to share a quick look at my new home!

The kitchen is quite a bit larger than our old one, but somehow has less cupboard and counter space. It also has a door straight out onto the deck, which is still buried in snow.

Meara has already decided that she loves that door since she can see a few other back yards with dogs!

The living room has a huge window that lets in lots of light! It will eventually be a combination living-dining room, and the couch won't always be shoved into a corner, but this is what we're starting with!

That window also has a really great view of the farm field across the road, and I'm expecting to see a lot of wildlife throughout the year!

As for the new sewing studio, I don't have any photos to share at the moment. It's the first room in line for renovations, so it's just an empty space right now, but once we get started I'll be sure to share the progress!

Friends, I wish I could share more but I still have a lot of unpacking and rearranging ahead of me, so I should get back to work!

Thank you all so much for your patience with me while the move has been underway! I'm looking forward to sharing many more stitching adventures with you as we settle into this new home!

And for those of you looking forward to the next round of Midnight Circus instructions, that is the first thing I plan to work on once the internet gets set up! Look forward to an update on that next week!
